Dr. Kate Tanaka

Dr. Kate Tanaka is a licensed and board-certified Naturopathic Doctor who earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. With a heart for children and families, Dr. Kate focuses on well-child visits and preventive care to support healthy growth and development from infancy through adolescence.

Her approach combines the principles of naturopathic medicine with evidence-based pediatric care, emphasizing nutrition, lifestyle, and early intervention to help children thrive. Dr. Kate’s gentle and compassionate nature allows her to connect deeply with both parents and children, creating a supportive environment where families feel heard and empowered in their health journey.

Guided by the belief that every child deserves a strong foundation for lifelong wellness, she is dedicated to helping families nurture resilience, balance, and optimal health at every stage.

Dr. Kate’s well-child visits provide a comprehensive evaluation of your child’s growth, development, nutrition, and overall health. Every visit is designed to support parents in understanding their child’s unique needs and to address potential concerns early through a functional, preventive approach.

 

Includes: growth and developmental assessment, nutrition review, physical exam,and individualized naturopathic recommendations.

 

Ideal for: infants, toddlers, children, and teens.

Acute Visits

Dr. Kate provides acute visits for existing patients who need timely support when their child becomes sick. These visits address short-term concerns and help guide families on when natural care is appropriate and when additional medical evaluation may be needed.
